Advent Day 23 – Each One of Us is Very Special to God

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” — Luke 12:6-7

As the celebration of Christ’s birth draws near, let this truth settle in your heart: You are deeply loved and cherished by God. The same God who created the heavens and earth knows you intimately—your joys, your struggles, and even the number of hairs on your head.

Jesus came into the world not just for the masses but for you. His birth, life, and sacrifice were all expressions of God’s immense love for each one of us. You are not forgotten, unseen, or overlooked. You are uniquely made and infinitely valued by the Creator of the universe.

In the midst of holiday busyness, take a moment to reflect on how special you are to God. Let His love fill your heart and remind you of your worth, not because of what you do, but because of who you are: a beloved child of God.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me so deeply and personally. Thank You for sending Jesus as a reminder of how special I am to You. Help me to see myself through Your eyes and to share Your love with others. May I never forget how precious I am in Your sight. Amen.
