Advent Day 21 – God is with Us
Advent Day 21 – God is with Us
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).— Matthew 1:23
As we journey through Advent, we’re reminded that Christmas is more than a story of a baby born in a manger. It’s the declaration of God’s love made real and tangible. Through Jesus, God chose to dwell among us—not from a distance, but right in the middle of our messy, imperfect lives.
In moments of loneliness, fear, or uncertainty, we can hold onto this truth: God is with us. Jesus, Immanuel, stepped into the world to bring peace, hope, and restoration. He’s with you in the joyful moments and in the struggles, offering His love, guidance, and strength.
This Advent season, let the presence of God fill your heart and home. Reflect on the beauty of His promise—He is not distant or detached, but near to us, even now.
Reflection Question:
What does it mean to you personally that God is with you in every season of life?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being Immanuel, God with us. Thank You for stepping into our world and drawing near to us. Help me to trust in Your presence, even when I feel far from You. Fill my heart with Your peace and my life with the hope that only You can bring. Amen.
