Eric Jackson

senior Pastor

A Hendersonville native, Pastor Eric graduated from HHS in 1988. He accepted Christ prior to entering the military where he served 4 years in the United States Navy. Upon leaving the military, Eric returned home and began attending the Hendersonville Church of God, where he met his future wife Amy.
 
Eric and Amy served together as children’s pastors and were engaged in various other ministries at HCOG before entering full time ministry in 2008. After pastoring churches in Chattanooga and Loretto, Pastor Eric was excited to come home to HCOG in 2015.
 
The Jacksons have four wonderful children in different stages of life, who serve in ministries at the church and their schools.  

Rich Keen

Rich was born in Nashville and grew up in church, singing and playing piano as a youth. He gave his heart to the Lord at a young age and rededicated his life at 18. He met his wife Gloria at Hendersonville Church of God and they were married there in 1992. They have four boys (Joey, Mark, Jesse and Aaron) and 2 grandsons (MJ and Kingston).
Rich answered the call to music ministry at the age of 18 and soon after enrolled at Trevecca Nazarene University as a Music major. He began serving as a music coordinator and worship leader with the Church of God (1994) in White House, TN. He had the opportunity to serve on several worship teams across middle Tennessee and southern Louisiana, accepting the worship leader role with HCOG in November 2020.
As an ordained minister in the Church of God (2020), Rich completed the Ministerial Internship Program the same year. He earned a Master’s degree in Religion (2016) from Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Relations (2001) also at TNU.
Enjoys working with Gloria on their small farm and cooking gumbo. 

frank & Sandra Wise

Sumner county missions directors

Frank and Sandra Wise are Co-Directors of Sumner County Missions. In 2018, Frank developed a friendship with a young man living under a bridge in Hendersonville near HCOG. Little did they know that this would be the beginning of God calling them to “DO” more, to “LOVE” more and to “GIVE” more.  Sumner County Missions was born as a result of this calling and currently offers a variety of support, connection, and outreach to those in need, to persons who are unhoused, and to veterans. 
Frank and Sandra have been married for 32 years. They have two sons, Forrest (24) and Jacob (19)and two fur-babies, Max and Buddy. In 2020, they added to their family a daughter-in-law, Jaclyn (Forrest) and a new grand-dog, Banks.
Growing up in Hendersonville, Frank was very active in the Nazarene church. He attended Trevecca Nazarene University. He is employed with a shredding company as a Warehouse Supervisor. Frank committed his life to Christ as a teen and has always had a heart for missions. He has been on several work and witness missions teams to Trinidad & Tobago, Honduras, and Africa (Uganda). Frank has also participated in many disaster relief teams across the country.
Sandra gave her heart to the Lord as a 6-year old child and grew up being very active in the Nazarene church locally and across South Carolina. Sandra graduated from Trevecca with a degree in psychology and has 32 years experience working in social services, mental health, disabilities and state government, where she is currently a director. Sandra has always had a heart for compassionate ministries. 

Doris Selvage

Doris was born and raised in Brevard, North Carolina where she was a member of the COG.  She became a Christian at an early age and was involved in many ministries.  After her marriage to her husband, Rayburn, in 1979, she moved to Tennessee and became a member of HCOG.  Over the years, Doris has served in a variety of ministries including teacher, choir director, Ladies Ministries, and Senior Adult Ministries. 

Hampton Perritt

Hampton was born and raised in Florence, Alabama where he became a Christian at a young age while growing up in the church. It was through playing the trumpet in high school that God led him to Lee University where he was active in various musical ensembles, business programs, and community outreach ministries.
 
After graduating from Lee in 2016 with degrees in Accounting and Finance, he moved to Hendersonville, TN where he has made HCOG his home church and he loves helping in church wherever there is a need. Hampton is a corporate accountant in the Nashville area and is also a member of the Nashville Praise Symphony.

Amy Jackson

youth ministry leader

Amy grew up as the pastor’s daughter at HCOG. It was here that she met and married her husband, current Pastor Eric Jackson. Together they have 4 beautiful children: Annabell, Brooks, Isabell, and Joshua. Amy and Eric have served in full time ministry for the last 13 years, returning to HCOG in 2015.
Amy has an amazing testimony of the Lord’s healing after a tragic car accident that threatened to leave her in a wheelchair for life. She is passionate about her Lord, her family and her church. In addition to her work with the youth, you can find Amy working at HCOG wherever there is a need. 

Cheryl Erwin

Cheryl grew up in Hendersonville and graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1991.She met her husband Mark at HCOG over 26 years ago, and they have 3 wonderful children together (Abigail, Andrew and Addie Mae).
Cheryl loves coming to church every week to teach and love on our children.
