Advent Day 18 – God Will Make a Way

Advent Day 18 – God Will Make a Way

“I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” – Isaiah 43:19

Reflection:
Advent is a season of anticipation, but it can also be a season of waiting. Sometimes, we wait in places that feel like wilderness—dry, desolate, and uncertain. Yet, even in the wilderness, God promises to make a way.

Throughout Scripture, we see God’s faithfulness in creating paths where none seemed possible. He parted the Red Sea, provided manna in the desert, and brought His people into the Promised Land. And in the fullness of time, He made a way for our salvation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ.

God is still making a way today. No matter the challenges or obstacles we face, He sees the road ahead and will guide us through. His ways may not always align with our plans, but they are always perfect and filled with purpose.

This Advent, let us trust in God’s promise to make a way. He is the God of the impossible, and His love leads us through every wilderness and valley.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the God who makes a way. When life feels uncertain, help me to trust in Your plans and Your power. Open my eyes to see Your hand at work and give me faith to follow where You lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Step:
Write down a situation where you feel stuck or unsure of the way forward. Surrender it to God in prayer, asking Him to guide you. Look for opportunities to encourage someone else who may be in their own wilderness.
