Grace Notes offers Fine Arts musical training with Mrs. Tralena Walker.

Fine Arts is fee-based and provided by Mrs. Tralena Walker who has a degree in Music Education along with years of experience in teaching and serving in different areas of church.  

Mrs. Tralena Walker is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and studied voice and piano at Virginia Commonwealth University.  She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree, Concentration in Voice, Minor in piano. She began performing professionally at 16 years of age. She began performing on Television in 1986 on the Nashville Network’s “You Can Be a Star”. In 1992, she moved to Nashville and is a permanent resident. She has performed the National Anthem for major NASCAR tracks and sells a CD called Thunder Road on Speedway Records at the tracks. She has performed on ABC, NBC, and networks, and in front of audiences of 200,000 or more with NASCAR. She has two songs that are co-written on Thunder Road, with the legendary Mr. Humpy Wheeler, retired president and CEO of Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and Tom Webster. The songs were regional hits. She teaches voice and piano lessons at Hendersonville Church of God in Hendersonville, TN, is a publisher of Tralyrics music, and “We Do Too” publishing companies continuously pitches songs and pursue her songwriting career. Mrs. Walker has certifications in Suzuki Piano books 1-3 and studied with the legendary Mary Craige Powell. She was a winner of several NATS, National Association Teachers of Singing, competitions while at VCU music.
